I thought this one was never going to be won. Graham from the Message Board got this one after a couple of weeks, but no-one else got the answer spot on. Laura Crick came very close and wins !

The Rubettes, The Sweet, Gary Glitter, Slade, Mud . Answer - The Sweet. They didn't have a feature film made around them. The Rubettes and Mud starred in Never Too Young To Rock in 1975, Gary Glitter starred in Remember Me This Way and Slade entered the movie business in 1975 with Slade In Flame.
